Australian government coping with bushfires

Since September there have been some important bushfires in Australia. They have become very dangerous. To understand this phenomenon, the world has to ask itself why there are bushfires in Australia. Scientists claim it is because of global heating. This natural catastrophe has political and environmental consequences.

To reduce global temperatures in the country, it will be very important to reduce emissions. Furthermore, there is another challenge for Australia to reduce emissions. Indeed, this is one of the world’s biggest exporters of coal. However, to limit global warming, scientists say that it should gradually stop its production. Unfortunately, coal production being one of the country’s economic strengths. The government, especially Scott Morisson the Prime Minister, does not want to stop the production now. To improve the situation, he prefers to set up EFR (Emission Funds Reduction), it means increasing budgets to help businesses and farmers to reduce their emissions.

Despite these initiatives, the Australian government remains highly criticized by scientists for its decisions which are not helping not helping the current climate situation as much as possible, especially by scientists.
